HAS EXTENDED THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS TO APRIL 11, 2011



We are pleased to invite you to participate in the XVIII Conference on Teaching Philosophy - International Symposium, 2011 to be carried out in the City of Buenos Aires, 12 to May 14, 2011. The work activities will be organized in committees and plenary sessions. The latter will include the participation of Augustine Adúriz-Bravo (UBA) , Laura Agratti (UN de La Plata), Adriana Arpini (UN de Cuyo), Marisa Berttolini (IPA, Montevideo), Alejandro Cerletti (UBA -UNGS), Ana Claudia Coulter (UBA), Cristina Donda (UN Cordoba), María Luisa Femenías (UBA - UN de La Plata) , Martha Frassineti (UBA), Silvio Gallo (University of Campinas), Olga Grau (U. de Chile), Elena Joseph (UN Salta), Walter Kohan (EU-Rio de Janeiro), Mauricio Langon (IPA, Montevideo ), Gladys Palau (UBA), Ricardo Sassone (UBA), Gustavo Schujman (UBA), Mary Spadaro (UBA), Elisete Tomazzeti (UF de Santa Maria) and Alejandra Velazquez Zaragoza (UNAM, Mexico).

For committee work may be submitted papers or Stories of experiences made on the subject of teaching philosophy at all levels of education and non-formal education. Each show will have a maximum of 25 minutes (15 to read work and 10 minutes for discussion later).

Those wishing to present papers should submit for evaluation a summary of 600 words. are accepted in Castilian and Portuguese.

After the conference must be submitted the complete works to be published in Minutes event on CD with ISBN, published by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Buenos Aires. Full papers should have a maximum of 3,000 words.

The conference is aimed teachers, researchers and students in philosophy, and others interested in the teaching of philosophy.

Registration is free. Will be awarded certificates of attendance and presentation of papers.
