REPORT AND ACTION
by Alejandra Tolcachier

Majdanek together Today we commemorate Yom Hashoah Vehagbura.

We performed an act in front of the ashes and crematoria at Majdanek to remember what happened in the Shoah.

Every glance is a memory, every memory is a life ... a life that was cut short by the Nazi genocide.

is our duty to keep the memory alive.
The memory defines us as a people, if we forget we also die.
We are part of an ancient nation which transmits its history from generation to generation and it is our commitment to remain part of this chain.
us keep alive the memory of the attacks on Israel's embassy in Argentina and the AMIA, we are not part of a citizenry that happened forget or relative sense.

Today we have a double duty this day to be here today. On the one hand care the flame of memory, prevent shut down, not to forget. But that's not enough, and we are also calling to remind 'Zakhor' in terms of activating the memory to transmit it to future generations lived. It is not enough to avoid oblivion, but it is also necessary to assume that memory built individually we generated a collective responsibility to multiply and transmit to our children so they can perpetuate the memory for generations.

"The opposite of love is not hate but indifference. The opposite of beauty is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, is indifference. And the opposite of life is not is death, but indifference between life and death. "Elie Wiesel. Survivor of Auschwitz, the Nobel Peace Prize
