A U.S. research suggests that zinc supplements may prevent children with low birth weight infants die because of diarrhea or respiratory infections.
Doctors at Johns Hopkins University, USA, came to this conclusion after following more than 1,100 small in India who had weighed less than 2.5 kilos at birth.
